Could use some help with labs... new mmber

Hi all,

46 year old male here.. been on 2 pumps of Androgel for 6 months. It seemed like after a few weeks I felt a little better, but then went flat. Lot's of soreness and fatigue, muscle weakness etc.

My recent lab's show the following:

total testosterone 853
testosterone free 120
% free testosterone 1.4 (1.6-2.9)
testosterone bioavailable 329 (131-682
estridol 69.5 (0.0-56)
SHGB 65 (11-80)

Any guidance with these numbers would be great.

It looks as though your Free Testosterone may still be low and your estradiol is getting a bit high. If so, this would make anyone feel tired and fatigued. However, if you could, please provide the units of measurement for each number, such as ng/dl, pg/ml, etc. as this changes what each number means. Also, gels do not work very well for everyone so you may want to keep that in mind as well. Men who don't respond to gels normally have to switch to injections. Injections work with almost all men every time. However, the ticket may be getting your estradiol under control and nothing more, but will need the units of measurement to give a better answer.
